Some of our members have sadly lost a child to either congenital heart disease or another medical condition. As we wish to support all of our members, we have included some information you may find helpful.
We are aware that this is a very difficult situation for families and we hope that we have been able to offer some support by funding the memory boxes you will have been given in the hospital and the beautiful remembrance book kept in the hospital chapel with the names of all the children who are no longer with us. You may visit the chapel at any time to view the book however, if you are travelling a long way, you may wish to check it is available as the liaison team do occasionally have to remove it to have the pages illustrated.
The cardiac liaison team organize special family days for bereaved families and we are pleased to offer support by funding these days. If you would like some information about the days, then please contact the liaison team.
